Our 2021 and 2022 annual report, Chrysalis, is an archive of our organizational emergence and transformation through massive change, grief, and struggle.

This 36-page document encompasses two years of CASS’s efforts to provide programming, people power, funding, accessible resources, and infrastructure that brings us closer to abolitionist community safety in DC.

It was no easy feat to make it through 2020, and thankfully, our small organization was still able to evolve and expand into offering more bold and radical approaches for building collective safety through a transformative justice lens.
