Empowering DC’s Transwomen of Color

Empowering DC’s Transwomen of Color

Jul 11, 2016 | Posted by CASS Staff |

After an incident on Friday, July 8th, when about ten transwomen of color were misgendered and harassed at Banneker Pool, CASS Program Fellow Nona Conner will lead an empowerment group for DC’s transwomen of color to share experiences and learn more about local resources.

Trans Empowerment Group
Petworth Library Conference Room
July 14th, from 7-8:30pm

Join us for support, dinner, and discussion for and by transwomen of color who experience frequent harassment across DC. We invite you to share your experiences with harassment and learn about the resources available to you for reporting harassment and discrimination.
