My Body Does Not Exist for Your Public Commentary!

Location: Mt. Pleasant St & Kenyon St NW (Mt. Pleasant)
Time: Evening Rush Hour (3:30pm-7:30pm)

I was walking home from yoga class on Sunday evening and talking to my mom on the phone when a man on a bike slowed down, looked me in the eye, and said, “camel toe.” I screamed that he was a “disgusting pig” for about 30 seconds as he rode away. My top covered my thighs, so he was just speculating. My mom was terrified and wouldn’t let me get off the phone until I was safely inside my apartment.
