“It made me feel so angry and helpless.”

Home A Neighborhood Ballston “It made me feel so angry and helpless.”

“It made me feel so angry and helpless.”

Jan 18, 2013 | Posted by User Submission |

Location: Wilson Blvd. outside the Ballston Mall (VA)
Time: Daytime (9:30am-3:30pm)

I was walking down the street on the middle of a Saturday afternoon when a man, walking with another male, said loudly to me, “girl, let’s go make some babies.” I’m ashamed to say I was too stunned to say anything back. The comment wasn’t even that vulgar, but it made me feel so angry and helpless.
