Flashed on Metro during morning rush hour commute

Flashed on Metro during morning rush hour commute

Jun 14, 2012 | Posted by User Submission |

Location: Metro train – Green Line near Mt Vernon Square/Convention Center
Time of Harassment: Morning Rush Hour (5am-9:30am)

I was sitting down watching a movie on my phone, in a fairly crowded metro so there were people standing near me. I glanced up just before Mt. Vernon Sq because a woman was motioning for me to get up. As she did this a guy standing next to me took off and got off the metro at Mt. Vernon Sq. She came over and told me he was flashing me and trying to get his penis near my head.

I didn’t see anything myself, though it’s still disturbing. Not sure if no one else saw it or if they let it go, but I hope it’s the former. I’m thankful for that woman, even if she didn’t call him out, at least she helped me out.
