“He wouldn’t stop…”

Home My Streets, Too “He wouldn’t stop…”

“He wouldn’t stop…”

Jan 3, 2012 | Posted by User Submission |

I was walking up 11th Street, on my way to yoga, when a man in a black car pulled up next to me and rolled down his window. At first, he was just yelling out, “Hey baby!” but after I kept ignoring him, he started commenting on my butt and suggesting what sexual acts he’d like to perform on me. It was disgusting. I tried to tell him to shut up and just keep going, but he wouldn’t stop. He kept following me in his car up the street. I told him to just drive away and asked if he’d talk to his mother like that, but his harassing talk got even worse. Finally, I threatened to call the police and charge him with harassment, and that’s when he drove away. I wish I took a picture of him and his car, to publicly shame him.
