This just happened! I was walking back to the office from getting lunch, and some guy in a uniform, like a meter maid uniform or something, called me gorgeous in a growly voice. I told him that I don’t want to hear comments like that, and that most women don’t. He said, “Okay, go ahead lady”, and then mumbled something under his breath — nothing good, no doubt. I still have butterflies in my stomach, but I feel good for FINALLY saying something to a street harasser.
