“Exuse me miss…”

I was walking to the Chinatown metro after visiting a friend on H Street around 10:30pm. After a long day of meetings, I was dressed in a suit and pumps. Between 6th and 5th Streets two males (mid 20s) were standing outside an apartment. One stuck his hand out and said “Excuse me miss, would you like to talk to us?” I shook my head and said “No thanks” and kept walking. A second later the other man shouted at me: “Hey bitch, you got panties on?!” It was humiliating. I felt like everyone was staring at me. I moved to DC only three weeks ago, and I have already had a dozen Holla Back DC worthy experiences.
