More Than Flyers

Oct 23, 2009 | Posted by User Submission |

Today I was walking along H street to Starbucks when I notice a man saying things while handing out some flyers. As I get walk further along and get closer to him, I hear him yelling after a woman who was heading inside a building, “Fine lady, walk away from me. This flyer would nicely compliment your outfit though.” He says something along the same lines to me and several other women who passed by simply ignoring him. I also passed another man on the same street (that was not giving out any flyers) who remarked, “Hey pretty thing.” I think he put his hand out too, but I tried not to pay any attention to him so I sped up and went into Starbucks.
