A few Saturdays ago, I was walking up to Adams Morgan from the U Street area with three other girlfriends. We were on 14th heading towards Florida when one guy stops as we walk by and gets just a few feet from my face. He says, “DAMN, take me home with you.”

Less then a block later, we walk past a group of at least five men. One of them says, “Look at those sexy women.”  Then he goes on to say, “Look, only one of them is not showing her legs.”

We turn on to Florida and somehow, avoid being harassed on the rest of our walk to Adams Morgan.
