Location: International Drive & Leesburg Pike (Tyson’s Corner), Virginia
Time: Daytime (9:30am-3:30pm)
I was walking from an office building to a nearby strip mall in search of lunch, and a man who didn’t look homeless but was begging for money was in the strip mall parking lot. He approached me and asked for money, and I said no, I’m sorry, then he walked up to another woman who also shot him down. He then walked back toward me and said that we were some good-looking women and that we should put on short skirts, go to work for him, and make some real money. His tone seemed threatening and creeped the hell out of me, and I ducked into the nearest restaurant (Finnegan’s Pride) until he’d left the parking lot. I don’t spend much time in Tyson’s Corner, but it seems rare that you encounter anyone on foot in that area, so I was caught off-guard from the get-go.
