Flashed while walking home from the metro

posted in: Logan Circle | 2

Location: 10th street NW between O and P streets (Logan Circle)
Time: Evening Rush Hour (3:30pm-7:30pm)

I was walking home from the metro when a man on a bicycle approached me, asking me for the time. I began to explain that I didn’t have my phone and therefore didn’t know what time it was, when I noticed that he was holding something in his hand. I looked down and saw his penis. He then took off on his bicycle.

I’ve got the perfect line for next time this happens: “Wow, that looks just like a penis, only smaller!”

I’m REALLY getting tired of these creeps using the “do you have the time” or “do you know how to get to X street” as openers for their assault attempt.

But really, anybody asking for “the time” should immediately be branded as a creep. If a person doesn’t have a cell phone or watch with them, they are likely mentally disturbed and shouldn’t be entertained at ALL. Put up your guard and be prepared to fight off an attack.

The “asking for directions” is a little more tough to decipher. But really, if it’s an odd hour and nobody around, that’s a big key off. Couple assholes coming up to you at 1:00AM asking for directions? Fuck them. I’d shoot them in the face just for thinking it’s okay to approach a stranger, at night, in a 2v1 scenario.
