Followed on the Metro

During rush hour on a packed train a man started rubbing himself on me. It took me a while to realize what was going on because I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt since we were packed into the Metro like sardines. But, every time that I moved away, he moved closer to me and kept rubbing himself on me. As soon as I realized what was happening I turned around and told him to stop. It took him by surprise and he did stop. I thought I had nipped the situation in the butt and decided not to report it because I didn’t think I would ever see this man again. This was about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, he showed up on the Metro behind me again. I thought it was coincidence, but I turned around and looked him in the eye to make sure that he wouldn’t touch me again. He seemed nervous and did not touch me. But, he showed up behind me on the Metro again today. I became convinced that he is following me and I told Metro Police at the Pentagon. They advised me to tell the Metro Police tomorrow before I get on the train and they could have an undercover officer ride with me in case this man shows up again.

  1. This could be the same Metro Molester as the guy who assaulted me in the same way and was previously covered on the UnsuckDcMetro blog. It’s his m.o. and also his location. Please get a good description of him. This man is on probation for this already, so if they catch him at it, he will do his suspended jail time. I really hope they catch him.

Please read my description here, and see if you think it is the same person. http://www.unsuckdcmetro.blogspot.com/2011/03/metro-molester.html If it is, refer to the Officer named in the comments- his e-mail is there. They’ve arrested him on multiple occasions, and have his name all ready to go. I’m going to notify both the officer and the detective that worked my case.

So sorry this happened to you!!!

  2. Also, get a note of what times he is there. If it’s the same person, he is not supposed to even be in the Pentagon station- he was banned for a year as a result of his sentence in the court case over my assault. Maybe they can pass around his mug shot and can keep an eye out for him in the station. If he even shows up there, they can arrest him and he will be in violation of his probation.

I’ve notified Officer Lang, please get in touch with him also to report this directly.

  3. I’ve been asked to clarify. If this person is the same person that assaulted me, the disposition of his sentence bars him from only the Pentagon Metro station. He is allowed to be anywhere else in the Metro Rail or Bus system. This sentence expires at the end of June, 2012.
