I was walking down the street to get to the metro when the driver of a moving van cat-called me from inside the vehicle! Since he was in a marked vehicle, I took down the company name and number. At first, I didn’t want to report it because I’m sure he needs the job, but at the same time, I need to be able to feel safe walking down the street in broad daylight. Also, I realize that the reason he can get away with street harassment is because women don’t feel comfortable reporting.

If he’s going to harass women while on the job then he doesn’t need it that badly.

Exactly. Glad you changed your stance and decided to report him.
