Sexual Assault at GWU

We just found out about another sexual assault that occurred at GW via one of our former interns and we thought it was important to share the information with you.

From the GW Crime Alert:

CRIME ALERT: Sexual Assault

On 7/23/10 at approximately 3:45PM a female reported a sexual assault occurring
at Marvin Center South stairwell between the ground floor and first floor. The
female student reported that she was walking up the stairwell when a male
subject put his hand up her skirt. The victim turned around confronting the
suspect who quickly left the building.

SUBJECT DESCRIPTION: White male, thin build, 30 to 35 years old, with wavy brown
hair, wearing a long sleeved blue dress shirt and wearing glasses.

The victim reported that she did not know the attacker.

Individuals are asked to report any information they may have about this
incident to The George Washington University Police Department (GWPD) at
202-994-6111 or anonymously at 202-994-TIPS.

hours a day to provide information and assistance to anyone who is the victim of
